Member’s Needs Ministry

Inspired by the example of the early church in Acts 2:44–47, where believers shared
with one another so that no one was in need, we would like to begin a Church Member
Needs List Ministry.
This ministry will provide a way for members of our congregation to quietly share
physical or practical needs they may have. Examples might include items such as a
lift chair, small household items, medical equipment, or other non-financial
needs.
To maintain privacy and dignity, members can submit their requests confidentially. A
separate insert in the Sunday church bulletin will list these needs without identifying
the individual unless permission is given. Members who are able may choose to donate
or provide the item.
This program is not intended for financial requests, but rather to encourage our
congregation to care for one another by sharing resources we may already have.
Through this effort, we hope to live out the spirit of the early church—supporting and
loving one another as the body of Christ.

“All the believers were together and had everything in common.”
— Acts 2:44–47

As a church family, we want to care for one another by sharing resources when there is a practical need. If you have an item to give or would like to help with one of the needs listed below, please contact the church office.

Please Note:
• Needs listed are non-financial items only
• Requests are confidential and not shared without permission
• Names are not listed unless permission is given

Inspired by our calling to care for one another as described in Acts 2:44–47, this form allows members to confidentially request non-financial items they may need.

Complete the information below and place in the offering plate, turn in to the office, or give to the Pastor, or any Deacon or Yolkfellow

All requests will be handled with care and confidentiality.

Together, we are reaching the nations. And it starts with prayer. You are invited on this journey around the world through your prayers for International Mission Board missionaries. Join the Great Commission task as, together, we find the lost, give help to the hurting, share the hope of Christ, and witness God grow His Church around the world. God works through your prayers to change lives. Pray with others for a church-planting
movement in Seoul and for human needs ministries in the Horn of Africa. Ask God to bless discipleship among believers in Chile and creative access to the gospel through the arts in Spain. Praise God for partnerships in Brazil and West Africa. Rejoice that God is moving among Central Asian peoples. Thank God for sustained missionary presence in Japan.
Let’s pray now, together

Gideons International Memory Cards

Announcement:

Here is an option for honoring someone or their family member or many other occasions rather than buying flowers. The Gideons International is an organization that First Baptist Church Stockbridge is fully in support of.

FBC will include the link to the Gideon’s International website when sending condolences.  This is for your information only to be able to have the instruction going forward.

All Gideons uphold these core beliefs:

·         The Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God

·         The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God

Here are the steps on how to access the website to honor a loved one by giving Bibles in their name.
